Sam: “After working and volunteering at some local supply depots, some certainly are more organized than others. More importantly the weather has been perfect... Once it begins to rain or snow eventually it will be very hard to coordinate space for all these goods. We are considering options for popup warehouse structures to cover the supplies. Yet most warehouses were along Rivers and were damaged or washed away.“
Dan: “How about tarps that might be needed to cover the supplies until "indoor" space is figured out? Would they be helpful in the meantime?”
Sam: “We are moving stuff so fast but it would be good to have it needed.”
“Any organizing by gender is fine. But honestly we are doing a lot of organizing every hour of every day. There are at least 20-40 volunteers that are dedicated to sorting every day. At this point the sooner the shipment the better.”
“We are so grateful! I just finally settled down for the day at my cousin's for dinner. Any and all support coming from citizens inside and outside the state is always appreciated and encouraged. We've been orchestrating some pretty substantial efforts down here that are truly making a difference”
